Ralph m Parsons Ltd. Lead Planner

Working on the Statoil Condensate Project in Kalundborg Denmark.

Managing the field planning aspects of the project and co-ordinating engineering-field interface. Reporting to the Site Project Controls Manager for developing and maintaining a detailed level III Construction Precedence Computerised Network consisting of approximately 11,000 activities and relations.

AMEC Process & Energy Ltd. Planning Engineer

Sep 95 - June 96 Working on the Lindsey Oil Refinery (LOR) 1996 Revamp reporting to the Engineering Manager for Front End Engineering & Design and Procurement, and the Construction Manager for Shut Down Activities.

Development of engineering progress monitoring network utilising Open Plan (5.1) for civil, structural, mechanical, vessel, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

Developed Shut down Construction logic network covering the removal and replacement of the Reactor and Regenerator heads and internals with replacements of new parts.

Kvaerner John Brown Planning Engineer

Working on the New Zealand Refining Company (NZRC) ’A’ Block Revamp at Marsden Point, New Zealand.

Responsible for the progress and co-ordination of planning of four main sub-contracts as well as NZRC’s own maintenance and cleaning activities.

Early civil and pre fabrication progress of the piping contractors was monitored utilising Excel spread sheets in the form of a Contract Summary Programme. All the contract summary programmes were used to report project progress.

Stone & Webster Engineering Lead Planner

Involved in the Moerdijk Advanced Recovery System (MARS) Project for Shell Netherlands Chemie (SNC) in Moerdijk, Holland.

Responsible for the co-ordination of Project and Tie-in scope for year 2000 shut down schedule and integration of the Maintenance & Inspection scope works, together with the operations and commissioning activities (shutting down and starting up the plant) into an hourly programme.
