Involved in the Moerdijk Advanced Recovery System (MARS) Project for Shell Netherlands Chemie (SNC) in Moerdijk, Holland.
Responsible for the co-ordination of Project and Tie-in scope for year 2000 shut down schedule and integration of the Maintenance & Inspection scope works, together with the operations and commissioning activities (shutting down and starting up the plant) into an hourly programme.
Primavera Project Planner (P3) was the main planning tool utilised with a final logic network of around 27500 activities being progressed and reported against as well as each sub contractors own programmes. Progress monitoring utilising data transfer between the larger contractors and spreadsheet/task sheets for minor sub-contractors assessments. Updates and analysis on progress produced for meetings with client, SWEL’s site/home office management and contractors. Reporting in the pre-shutdown phase was weekly/monthly and daily in shutdown phase.
