Assigned to a project in Democratic Republic of Congo

• Establishing project master schedule (Port – Mine – Rail – Infrastructure) with the planning team.
• Preparing planning & scheduling procedures to be followed (to client and to contractors).
• Developing master schedule to suit the latest approved contracting plan and scope.
• Managing contractor’s schedules and progress.

Validating current project progress and reporting to client accordingly.

Developing a solid foundation of skills through comprehensive training as a Mine Surveyor and Planner

Gaining exposure to mine planning and design, development of project organisation and production progress measurement

Responsible for training three assistants and for coordinating meetings with managers and team leaders

Utilising strong planning and organisation skills to create reports and schedules, for direct use in problem resolution
