Mining Works

First bi-national mining project. Argentinean portion totalized 25 million direct man-hours and $ 5.4 billion construction capital forecast cost.

Established cost, scheduling & progress control procedures and guidelines for this mining project before and during construction phase.

• Developed the overall status reporting on the financial aspects and the schedules associated with Design and Construction projects. Supported project management team to provide an-effective integrated cost and schedule monitoring program.

Co-led the implementation of SAP R/3 ERP as the Project System module Key User.

Provided technical/analytical and functional support in the area of project management, project controls and construction management processes for capital construction mining project ($450 M capex)

• Deviations control, both for costs and time, warned about potential risk of delays and promoted mitigation plans development. Observed project WBS for the schedule in Primavera P6.
• Prepared cost dashboards, with performance indicators linked to the budget and schedule.

Co-led the implementation of JD Edwards ERP as the Job Cost module Key User.

Main function is to analyze tenders and develop competitive bids but I'm playing catch up on scheduling skills having used old school paper methods for the last 20 years.
