• Develop all schedule related coding structures including activities and sort fields.
• Gather progress updates from across the full project team and update the master schedule including implications of approved changes, challenging any discrepancies.
• Supervise preparation and regular updating of project tracker with technical administrator.
Project Controls and Planning management on the FASGW defence programme based at MoD Abbey Wood Bristol.
Produce. Risk reports to support monthly CSR meetings
Gather information from Risk Owners across different sites and Projects, by interviewing on existing Risk statuses and any changes to probability , impacts , fallback plans and mitigation actions on a monthly basis.
Preparing Risk & Opportunity Mgt Plans for projects
Facilitating identification of project risks
Analysing risk data using the standard toolset & generating reports
Responsibilities:
• Computer application in various works
Bid preparation for a state of the art, turnkey, dedicated telecommunications network involving more than 10,000 km of fibre optic cable, over 5,000 km of marine cable all riding on a SDH network connecting more than 400 sites, by preparing schedules, resource plans, etc.
Developed a Project Implementation Plan for a $420 million turnkey telecommunications project, involving more than 12,000 activities, spread over more than 4 years.
Owner/publisher of Weekly and Monthly Progress Report (using Primavera, MS Access, MapInfo, Ms Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word).
