Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

Assists in the development, application, and enhancement of authorized integrated scheduling and planning processes. Consults with executives on issues requiring specialized scheduling knowledge or expertise. Synthesizes information based on experience and judgment to arrive at optimum solutions to problems involving both internal and external customers. Develops, implements, and maintains a cohesive plan that integrates all activities required to plan, design, build, test, deliver and support a system throughout its life cycle.

Ability to schedule significant development and/or production programs using the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This includes the establishment of baseline schedules, task networking, the development of workaround schedules, schedule status, performance tracking, and critical path reporting and analysis. Capable of working with SAP, Cobra and MPM.

I am supporting the implementation of the Earned Value Model at United Technologies Corp/ Goodrich Albuquerque.  The assignment entails setting up a compliant scheduling model plus adding my expertise to the tiger team of two other EVM specialists creating all the pieces of the puzzle for Goodrich to have a compliant Earned Value System.  I must say this is the most fun I have had since Boeing. Hosted IBR CDR and PDR. Fully resourced schedules in MSP 2010.
