Role

Planner, have attended various courses that were external to the company, Primavera, NEC3, Introduction to APM. I was promoted to Planner in May 2014 and was assigned to the project I am still currently working on.  The company introduced EVM 2years ago so I have had the challenge of learning this and also teaching the engineering team, that i work for, the principles of EVM.

I am a cost engineer in the defence sector, I came from Oil & gas field. I have been a cost engineer for 11 years. Prior to this I was a contracts manager at Exxon.

I entered the Oil & Gas field from education, I was a primary school teacher for 9 years.

I have an IT degree, a Teaching degree, BTec in business studies. Plenty of work training on many systems including SAP, Oracle, etc. I am well versed in HSSE and Risk areas.

I have a very good head for figures, planning, estimating and analysis of data.
