The Bicker Fen substation is the new substation which processes the electricity generated by the onshore wind farm. The power is then fed into the National Grids’ existing Walpole Substation. Alpha was contracted to construct civils elements of works to the client’s design. Our works included the construction of numerous piled foundations, super grid transformer bunds, a control building which includes a steel structure with composite cladding walls and roof complete with internal blockwork partitions and full M&E installation.

Planning Consultant professional with expert knowledge of planning permissions. Help in some cases make the difference between a project getting planning approval or not.

• Prepared and reviewed schedule durations for all disciplines and trade activities relative to the support of project milestones.

• Supervised the Master Program Schedule maintenance including input, revision and updating.

Higgins were constructing a science lab for a school in London worth circa £8m (P6). I was offered a role with training to develop my previous planning experience.
