The 3D Gantt explained in video

The 3D Gantt resulting from the the 3D WBS method allows to identify project interfaces (co-activity, physical, temporal). It is at the same time a time-location diagram.

Ship impact protection system

S
Sunil Babu 👤 Member for 15 years 7 months

Dear all,

I need some guidelines for doing a ship impact protection system project programme. The major

activities includes construction of two berths and a fender system for the ship impact protection.

What are the major concerns while planning a programme for this work, berth construction  includes

piling works also.  Expecting your valuable view points,

   With Regards,

           Sunil.

Planning Manager - 80 Storey Tower - What are the key factors to successfully planning a high rise tower of this scale?

J
John Green 👤 Member for 19 years 1 month

Hi folks,

Just hoping the Planning experts can help me out here.  I work in recruitment and am looking for a High Rise Planning Manager for the Main Contractor on an 80 storey tower in the Middle East.  My client will conly consider someone with 60+ storey experience.  I just wondered from a planning perspective what are the impotant differences between say a 30 storey tower and an 80 storey tower?

Any advice would be appreciate!

Thanks,

John

Advise please -Software selection for a client

We have a UK client that is considering investing in some new planning software, and has asked for some advice on which to go for.

They currently have 80 or so live projects of between 1k and 5k activities each, all fully resourced. Soon they will be expanding to hundreds or even thousands of projects.

At the moment they are using MSP 2010 Standard, installed on standalone machines. They are having lots of issues getting reliable data extraction into excel for running virtual reports (anyone had similar issues?
