I have recently posted several messages to forum with pictures, but pictures have then disappeared after approximately a day.

e.g.: look at my post from Wed, 2012-11-28 14:20 here:

Or post from Tue, 2012-11-27 08:38 here:

Stickies

I note a couple of Stickies have been used on the Accreditation discussion board to ensure the Guild presentations are always highly visible.

Could we use the same methodology on other boards? I think it would be a great idea to have an FAQ sticky, where we could link to previous posts which have answered common questions.

Multiple Entry Test

M
Mike Testro 👤 Member for 20 years 5 months

Hi PP admin

I am just about to test how many entries of this thread I can put up by pressing the save button as many times as I can.

The most I have seen so far is 7 and it takes an age to delete them.

I have already suggested that the Save button be changed to Submit and it greys out as soon as it it hit.

Best regards

Mike testro

Has anyone EVER shared a schedule of theirs on request from a Planning Planet posting?

We get a lot of posts on plannnig planet from members asking other members to send them a pdf or xer or whatever of a schedule.

To my knowledge, no-one has ever done so.

So I am considering as a moderator replying to such postings to say that we don't do that on PP, and then locking the thread from any more posts.

Before I start doing so, I wanted to check with you all if you felt this was a good move.

We will soon REQUIRE YOU to have a COMPLETE MEMBER PROFILE to make that post; PLEASE CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE IT.

M
Mike Testro 👤 Member for 20 years 5 months

Hi PP Admin

I have been trying tocomplete my membership profile for many months but the form has constantly rejected my efforts.

Now I am being told that I cannot make further contribution to PP on the spurious grounds that I have not completed my profile.

I object to the insulting use of CAPITAL letters in the demand - if this policy is not reversed by the end of this week I will quit Planning Planet.

Best regards

Mike Testro

off topic discussions and questioning my integrity

Rafael and I have been having a debate on this thread:

http://www.planningplanet.com/forums/primavera-version-pm5-pm6/520510/why-constraints-and-other-data

and since the debate we are having has nothing to do with the original poster's query, I'm going to continue the discussion here, rather than hijack his thread.

Rafael:

The original query was about whether or not to use activity constraints, project constraints, and risk levels
