Senior Planning Manager
I am currently a retail planner at Overbury which is part of a group known as Morgan Sindall REaL Fitout and they specialize in fitouts for offices and major retail chains such as Harrods and House of Fraiser to name a few. I am Asta PowerProject and MS Project competent and I am also qualified in Prince 2. I am still a trainee and still learning so granted I will be inexperienced as I'm only 18 but that is also one of my advantages as I have been using the latest versions of programmes competently and I am not conservative but open to change when required.
I assisted the quantity surveyor and the project's manager make a full assessment of the building and whether it was viable for us to accept the project and whether it would produce the required amount of benefits. Also, I attended a Prince2 training course whilst creating the tender for the project and found this to be an experience in itself. The amount of intensive studying required was a shock although I highly recommend attending the course as it does give you a greater understanding of project management and does provide with several foundations and processes.
I am a retail planner that is currently in training. I have written several programmes for the company to be used in several different frameworks which are predominantly produced on Asta PowerProject. My duties include creating and editing programmes from work schedules to master programmes for frameworks.
