Description:

Orion is NASA's next manned spacecraft.  It is a capsule similar to the Apollo spacecraft but is larger (crew of four).  It's first unmanned test flight is scheduled for 9/2014 atop a Delta IV Heavy booster.  Several years later the a second unmanned flight will occur atop NASA's new heavy lift launcher, the Space Launch System (SLS), think Saturn V but a bit larger.
