Project: Staythorpe Gas Power-station – Alstom Power – £54m
Construction of 4No 400 MW power-train units and cooling towers for a combined cycle gas turbine power-station. Works consisted of deep excavations, concrete foundations, duct, drainage and water cooling pipe installation.

Design and construction of a reinforced concrete nuclear waste storage facility, including overhead cranes, shield doors and full mechanical and electrical instrumentation and control.

Numerous projects including: piling and concrete works to the 440x50x20m concourse B building, rail, baggage and service tunnels, airside roads, a 6No level 400x60m multi-storey car-park, and site wide drainage and electrical infrastructure.
Roles and responsibilities:
Project: University Hospital, Dubai Health Care City.
Project consisting 3 Basements (circa 31,000 m2 each), 5-storey (circa 15,000 m2/floor) Podium housing clinics operation theaters, public areas, and 14-storey (circa 4,500 m2/floor) Hospital Tower building, in addition to a 7-storey Admin building (circa 2,100 m2/floor).
Project value: US $ 180 Million.

• Provide a full planning, work management and analysis of construction activities.
I was site based full time, performing daily planning duties at this private design and build development for Crest Nicholson consisting of a health & fitness suite, a cinema, restaurants, a multi-storey car park and 200+ residential units, all in post-tensioned RC frames.
There were also two steel frame retail units (mostly shell and core), and extensive Section 278 works.
The challenge on this project was to achieve 20 sectional PC dates.
