I Started out on the IRT Open Feeders Project as Part of the My Citi Bus stop enrollment to the greater Cape Town area.  Roles and duties included, but were not limited to:

 

·         Implementation and monitoring of QCP and QMS system on site

·         Communicating with Foreman  and Site Agent

·         Managing a team and myself

I started my career in 2012 on the IRT My Citi Bus stops in and around Cape Town where I was a Site Engineer. 

 

Towards the end of 2014 I applied for an internal post as a Planner in our Estimating & Tendering Department and I have worked with a wide range of Tenders for this duration. I have also started to assist our on-site teams with their programming (Construction and Target programmes).

I have been with Group Five since 2008 (As a Student) and completed my B-Tech Quantity Surveying in 2010 and therafter B-Tech Construction Management in 2011 at CPUT.

 

In 2012 I was employed as a Junior Engineer, and the job I've been involved with is the IRT Open Feeders bus stops (MyCiti). We have finished Phase 1-5 and will soon be moving to a new phase out in Mitchells Plain/ Khayelitsha.
