Working for Bramall Construction as the sloe planner in the East of England my responsibilities start with the tender, and the preparation of the tender programme, site set up, with the plant and resources required. Once the method of build has been agreed between myself and estimator, we present the findings at the settlement meeting with the heads of departments and MD.
Starting my career as an apprentice carpenter in 1976 I continued along the route of leading hand, foreman, general foremen, with Bovis Construction then assistant site manager and site manager for Fairview Estates, and for Taylor Woodrow and then Taylor Wimpey contracts manager to production manager.
In 2008 I commenced employment with John Laing Partnership as a Planner, they under took all my training needs though Asta.
