Planning/Project Manager working on various projects including:

Olympic Park Development – Senior Planning Manager for the enabling works (Design, Demolition, Earthworks & Remediation). Responsible for managing four planners and co-ordinating programmes from both Tier 1 contractors (Nuttalls and Edmund Morrison) and design team (Atkins). Management reporting to Atkins Management Team, LDA, ODA and CLM (CH2M Hills, Mace and Lang O'rourke). Owner and developer of the level 2 programme with cash/cost forecasting for the whole of the Enabling Works budget.

John worked within Atkins Oxfordshire based Highways and Transportation team designing and implementing projects for the Oxfordshire City Council and the United Kingdom’s Highways Agency.

Current Role

•     Liaising with other affiliate members to drive resolutions to relevant high level issues and concerns

•     Managing the quality of practices and procedures employed by Atkins’ planners.

•     Earned Value analysis, CPI, SPI and S- Curves to Commercial and Directorship on a periodic basis

•     Periodic resource analysis for both short and long term equipment and labour forecasts.
