Liaise with client engineering, process and inspection departments. From equipment work list, process clean requirements, and pressure vessel scheme of inspection sheets, specify equipment such as reactors, columns, drums and heat exchangers using P+Ids, piping specs, vessel drawings and blinds lists. Identify material that will be needed to isolate, open, clean, inspect, repair and test equipment.  Interface with the clients sub contractors on scaffold access and insulation removal. Specify material for equipment closure and hand back.

SPMM is a Project Management approach designed for EPC Projects, based upon APM guidelines and Best Practice across AMEC.

As Project Controller I worked with a core team of six, and a lead from each Discipline to define the management policies,which incorporate quality at all stages of a contract and develop clear performance indicators for the business and projects.

My background in IT and experience qualified me with a unique and vital insight into the practical implementation of such a system.

I spent four months assisting on a claim for the project. This included the production of a P3 programme which visualised the historical data collected in the analysis of many drawings, documents and the contract. Utilising my extensive knowledge of Earned Value allowed me to clearly analyse data and S-curve’s, ensuring I was fully prepared for discussions with the project manager and confident presenting to the client. I also often progressed the program actuals using P5 and updated the expended man hours on a weekly basis.
