Analysing information supplied by suppliers/sub-contractors.
Accumulating data from all parties and the project team.
Checking on progress & Verifying works complete & review any possible delays ensuring is been highlighted to the Sponsor.

I was the site Planning Engineer for the Kirkintilloch Link Road, a 4.6Km road valued at £35M reporting directly to the Contracts manager and Commerclai Manager.  I developed a fully logic linked cost and resource loaded programme as required by the NEC Contract Conditions for the works which was used both by Carillion and our various client groups for cost and value monitoring and forecasting and has become essential for Cost Index analysis.  The programme is also used to demonstrate the effect of compensation events and project manager’s instructions.
