Senior Planning Engineer
I am a BSc Civil Engineer and a permanent resident of Australia.
I am prepared to relocate to any part of the World to start work immediately. I will give my best to the organization I work for.
I have worked in Australia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.
I have been in the project planning field since 1997. I am very well versed with PRIMAVERA P3, P5 and P6 and MS Project. I have used almost all the products of PRIMAVERA P6 including the Project Management Module, Methodology Management Module and Portfolio Management Module. I have very good experience using MS Project as well. I also have very good working knowledge with MS Excel and MS Access (including Macros and VBA-Visual Basic for Applications).
I do planning and Scheduling of activities, resources and costs and generating activity and bar charts, resource histogrames, KPIs (Key Project Indicators), PF ( Performance factors with respect to time and cost ), S-curves, % slippage reports, Cash Flow Forecasts, EVA (Earned Value Analysis), mitigation of delays and EOT evaluation (what-if, but-for and contemporary window analysis).
I have extensive civil planning experiences. These cover heavy construction industry including high rise buildings; underground construction including fuel storage caverns, pump stations, air outlet tunnels, air inlet tunnels, distribution pump stations, power generation, blast and fire barriers and other areas like primary and secondary crushers, screens, fine ore bins, ROM and flood dams; road works (Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate Base Course Roads); rail construction (including rail track, trip facility, fuel farms, auto and manual washing), earth works, signalling and communications, fibre optic relocation, electro-mechanical, fire Detection, fire protection; water projects (high level reservoirs, clean water basins, water treatment plants and distribution mains); air bases, air wings, aviation hangers and utility centres. I also have a very good experience in planning for MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing). In Australia I worked for Calibre Global in WA, SNC Civil Construction in WA, Transfiedl Worley in WA, TBH in Melbourne and Hind’s Blunden in Melbourne.
I also have experience in oil and gas as a planner at Transfield Worley in Karratha in WA. There I was a Shutdown and Maintenance (minor, medium and major) Planner.
