I am a mechanical engineer with a total of almost 11 years progressive experience. I offer a successful track record of academic accomplishments and knowledge gained through experience in work. I graduated from Saint Louis University at Baguio City, Philippines. I earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering on April 2004 and I passed the Professional Licensure Examination on October 2004.
I am currently employed as the Planning Superintendent (acting in capacity) in the Mill Division of Philex Mining Corporation. I head the engineering and design of existing or new equipment installation. I am primarily accountable to the purchase, evaluation and monitoring of equipment, materials and supplies needed for the whole mill production (Crushers, Ball Mills, Conveyors, Flotation Cells, Pumps, Vibrating Screens and Drum Filters). My main responsibility is planning of maintenance activities which include budget, manpower, supplies, method and general schedule.
I previously worked as an Equipment Engineer from November 2004 to December 2010 in a Japanese company which had given me proficiency in equipment maintenance and dealing with people. I had notable accomplishments in Fujitsu and Toshiba. My last major project was the improvement of our Head Testers (HT) through vibration elimination. Our equipment efficiency improved by 3% and increased product yield as well. This project resulted to reduced spoilage cost of US$ 1,000,000.
