I am applying for the position of PlanningManager.
I am a highly experienced professional in construction project management, particularly in project scheduling, monitoring and control. I was involved in the construction of Hong Kong International airport for about 4 years from tendering to completion of fit out works. I have been using Primavera and other Scheduling software for this task and familiar with CPM, Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Claims. Most of my 31 years work in experience focused more on actual site construction for developers and contractors which gives me an in-depth practical knowledge in the life cycle of a project construction and management. Likewise, I have a substantial experience in project tendering and procurement.
Currently, I am a Planning Manager working for Venetian Projects in Macau. I started working in these projects from conceptual design to handover of the projects. As a member of the management team, I had the opportunity to prove that having a collaborative team effort and ownership on the development and construction programme would surely lead to a successful mega project. Pro-activeness to ensure adherence to the Works Programme and the technical know-how of the project are my key motivation factor to maintain a highly professional advantage.
