The positions I have held in the past years at AMTCC – Doha, Qatar and in other Construction Companies in Africa have given me many opportunities to develop the skills you require including strong interpersonal and analytical skills; problem-solving, decision-making, supervision; and the ability to work independently. Highlights of my skills include but not limited to:
Personal Skills:The Job of a Project Planner requires a high level of critical reasoning and ability to Work effectively in a team environment. These qualities are part of the key strength that made me successful in my current job role with AMTCC. Furthermore, I daily apply conflict management and problem-solving skills to handle different situations.
Supervision:In my early career days I have worked as a Project Supervisory Engineer in various projects ranging from Building Construction and Infrastructure projects, supervising a workforce ranging from 10 – 25, including Tradesman and even other junior Engineers.
Working Independently:In association with the project team, I successfully developed a project schedule for three Major projects that are in execution and closeout stages respectively using Primavera P6 scheduling software. I received only general directions from my supervisor while gathering information by working directly with other professional including the Design and Supervision team.
Computer/Software Experience: I am proficient Microsoft Projects, Oracle Primavera P6, Windows and Microsoft Word and have worked on projects using this software. I am also proficient in the use of AutoCAD software; the Internet as a means of communication; and downloading documents. Being technically oriented makes me a quick learner of different software packages. In my present job, I am often called upon to help others help solve PC problems and answer software questions.
Salary Expectation - $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 (open to negotiations)
