Dear Mr Logie

During the first six years I worked in in a design consulting environment, followed by four years on site as a member of the management team on a project executed by a government organisation. After that I joined a major contracting group and worked mainly on site, rising from the contractors "methods and planning engineer" on a nuclear power station site to commercial manager in a "pipe line" specialist contractor subsidiary of the group. Eight years after joining the group, I left to form my own construction "Technical and Commercial analytical Service" company.
During the past 26 years as a construction analyst, my role has included:
- estimating, tendering, managing tender processes, tender method statements, alternative designs and planning,
- project planning and progress control, final accounts, claims, dispute resolution,
- Construction method statements, alternative designs and method based improvement of production,
- technical management consulting,
- mediation, arbitration and expert witness duties.
Projects in which I have participated included the following disciplines:
- dams (earth, rock fill, concrete gravity, RCC concrete gravity and concrete arch),
- roads (new across virgin country, upgrading from gravel to bitumen /concrete surfacing and rehabilitation of existing surfaced roads, railway lines, airport runways, etc.,

The attached resume list some of the projects.
I wish to apply for the mediteranean job in preference to those in the UAE.
Yours faithfully
