My name is Colin Shreenan I am a self-motivated Lead Senior Project Engineer / Programme Controls Manager of 17 years’ experience utilising Primavera (P6 expert), my career prior to this was as Senior Scheduler and Project Procurement.
As a Senior Project Engineer I'm a team focused person that has a real enthusiasm for planning and controls and I ensure that it's at the forefront on every large project I've work on in the past. With my in depth knowledge and experience of Programme management, programme planning and controls (P6 Expert & P2P), understanding a project lifecycle, budget management, contract (EPC/NEC) management, risk identification/mitigation, issue and dependency management combined with P6 and P2P methodology gives me the unique ability to create and control complex multi-disciplined programme of works that progress can be analysed periodically through the development of programme specific variance reports, storyboards/dashboards and the creation of a Project/Programme Control Documents.
From the onset of any programme development it's imperative that the clients scope and contract becomes the major bases of the programme. And as important the business management set of programmes controls should also be defined, approved and reflected in the programme.
Relevant Electrical Experience
Substations as Senior Project Engineer within the rail industry I have developed many SS (P6) programmes from scratch and periodically controlled (On all SS - design, procure of units TRU/REC, manufacture, FAT, delivery, site bases, internal external troughing, install of units,Install of control panels, connection of internal communication cables and feeder cables, Earthing Farms (piling)- Commission units, EiS Enter into Service.).
High Voltage Feeder Cable. Miles of feeder from DNO to Substation or Substation to Substation. On commissioning requiring DNO Grid engineer with Level A rail engineer.
SCADA - As Lead Senior Project Engineer on the national programme of works, it's the digitalisation of the national rail electrification network. A very complex programme of works.
NSCD - Negative Short Circuit Device - I was the lead Senior Project Engineer when Networkrail initiated a trial programme across the network for TFL/DFT. These NSCD went through the B2 process, assessed and assured by LLoyds of Londons.
OHLE - Overhead Line Equipment - I was lead Senior Project Engineer on a project that required the removing and replacing of gantries that held high voltage cable on the live rail network (Piling, capped, erect gantry, outages to move existing live high voltage cables.
Sub Sea Cabling (Fibre optics) - Alcatel where large cables were coiled into a purpose made vessel then as the vessel make it way from land base to land base the cable is gradually released from the vessel and laid into a ploughed trough on the seabed.
Periodically (Monthly) I travelled to France to report on programme status.
