Dear Sir/ Madam,
In my career I have always had the motivation to take action in order to achieve the best results. I believe in working hard and completing tasks to the best of my ability.Throughout my career, I have continuously looked for the opportunity for the improvement of my technical and communication skills by undertaking different tasks and training. In any task I perform, I always concentrate on the end result and how to achieve it in the most professional and efficient way.
These skills include:
- Training in business principles, industrial relations and work place health and safety as part of a Diploma of Business Administration
- Fast track training and practical application of financial management and planning/scheduling systems within the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR)
- Attainment of a Certificate IV in Project Management in the DTMR
- On-site experience as a planner for Fluor in construction of well pads for the Santos GLNG coal seam gas project;
- On-site experience as a projects controller for Arrow Energy domestic coal seam gas project
- Current study toward an Associate Degree of Engineering (University of South Queensland)
While in the DTMR I developed a sound understanding of the practical aspects of DTMR business in the design, construction and operations of transport infrastructure.
In my role for Fluor, being the only planner in the well pad construction team, I had to quickly educate myself as to all the complexities of gas field construction technologies as well as available and required manpower, equipment and materials resources.
In my current role with Arrow Energy I have continued to develop my pre-existing skills in aspects of project management and gas field construction plus I have now taken on more responsibility in cost controlling and project wide scheduling.
- Budget preparations, project scheduling from concept through to finalisation phases, S Curve monitoring of project lifecycles, critical path and risk analysis, actual versus planned cost tracking and high level reporting of project status.
- Setting up and managing the Primavera schedules for several concurrent projects.
- Setting major project milestones such as project approval, site access and commissioning dates.
- Determiningproject construction staging and equipment delivery to site with construction managers and project outage plans with commissioning engineers
· Producing the invoice plans and coordinating project major payments and advance accruals.
· Analysing projects conflicting activities and advising on resources allocations.
- Developing regular execution and look ahead plans for all the civil, mechanical, electrical and welding pipe-laying teams involved
- Tracking and reporting the daily weekly and monthly productivity of construction teams.
I have very good interpersonal and communication skills and I have demonstrated considerable success in contributing to the owners' team building plus helping to set up good lines of communication between the owners site supervision team and the contractors.
I can demonstrate that I am able to readily adapt to new situations and learn new skills as well as using my existing skills to meet the challenges faced by any type of engineering and construction activity
I work well in the team environment and I know I can be depended upon to complete my part. I believe that respect for each other and an honest and trusting environment is the foundation of good teamwork.
I am looking for a role that utilises my numerous skills, knowledge and expertise inproject management and would enable me to develop them to the best of my potential.
I look forward to discussing any opportunities with you further. I am available for interview at short notice and may be contacted as below.
Yours sincerely,
Tatiana Babicheva
