I have over 20 years planning experience, I have worked in various industries including the petrochemical industry, steel manufacture, nuclear construction, nuclear de-comissioning, water utilities and construction/building services. I have worked as Planner/Scheduler and as a Planning Manager I have led teams of planners.
I am computer literate having worked with many project planning software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P6V8, Primavera WEB, P3E, Power Project, Microsoft Project, Teamplan, AMS Realtime, Superproject, Plantrac, Artemis & Office packages such as Microsoft Office (Excell, Word etc), Corel Perfect Office & Lotus Smartsuite.
My skills include developing fully costed & resourced programmes (Gantt Charts) from various sources of information i.e. material take-offs, design information etc maintaining the link between scope, schedule & cost, from initial conception stage to commissioning throughout the project life-cycle . I am adept at managing baselines through change control procedures. I have a good working knowledge of project monitoring systems (including Earned Value, EVMS) to monitor the project & supply timely guidance to the project manager. I am proficient at applying risk to programmes following three point assesments & Monte Carlotype analysis. Periodical progress reports, progress ‘s’ curves and histograms etc. and productivity information to aid labour & material resource management.
I have recently broadened my primavera skills by incorporating Primavera System Administrator/superuser role with my Senior Planning Role.
