It is pleasant for me to introduce myself as an experienced person in the project controls field during Basic, Detailed Engineering and Construction Phases, with some courses in this area and interested to work in a dynamic company like yours and flexible on job locations. My main areas are in Project Controls such as planning & scheduling but more specifically in Cost Control, also very interested in related areas like procurement management and finance. I have two citizenship, Venezuelan and from El Salvador. Speak fluent Spanish and English, advanced French and basic Italian and Portuguese speaker but advanced understanding and writing.
My first seventeen years of carrier in the Oil & Gas Industry, I have worked in the same Petroleum& Petrochemical Company (PDVSA, S.A.) in the major projects area, as a cost control analyst/engineer and some scheduling, giving support to project managers, in Caracas, other places in Venezuela and even abroad (Houston, Tx). For the last 7 years I have worked for a Spanish Company, Tecnicas Reunidas, S.A. as a cost control engineer at site in Damietta for Egypt LNG project and later as part of the cost control group in the Core Team in Paris, France, afterwards moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and finished it in Madrid, Spain for the Dung Quat Refinery project in Vietnam. Also, worked in Madrid, Spain and later moved to site for construction as cost control lead in the United Arab Emirates for Borouge II project.
I am seeking for a challenging position within project controls in a dynamic project. Team worker with leadership abilities. Dynamic approach to assigned tasks, competent, professional and results orientated. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to develop successful working relationships with all levels of colleagues and senior management and with a multi national team environment. Able to work independently, on own initiative and ‘think outside the box’ with minimal management supervision. Always motivated and open to new challenges, willing to learn and capable to work under pressure.
My MBA with studies emphasized in Finance and my Civil Engineer degree were carried out in Caracas, Venezuela, at Andres Bello Catholic University.
