  • Construction & supervision of day-to-day activities for all structural activities as per requirements.
  • Assist the key experts in understanding the design, extracting the details from the design and doing minor modifications in the design as when required
  • Assist the Senior Bridge Engineer in review of designs, construction methodology in accordance with the technical spec, requirement, and Project Implementation schedule.
  • Monitorthe progress of all major RCC casting works, Pre-stressing & Post stressing activities.
  • Keep proper track on the monthly targets assigned by the concessionaire / contractor and definite follow- up for the same if the target not been achieved.
  • Monitor Bridge rehabilitation and repair works for each component of the structure in coordination with the concessionaire and the agencies involved in execution of work.
  • Maintain a record set of working drawings and construction records and approved method statements.

 

SALIENT FERATURES OF THE PROJECT:

 

  • One Elevated 4-lane Highway (Segmental): Elevated Length of 4.5 Km, making total span of 120 Nos. Span arrangements: 28.50, 31.50, 34.50 and 37.50 mts respectively. One Major Obligatory span of 39.40 mts with cantilever piers. Each Span consists of 8 to 11 no of 3.0 mts wide field segments in between 2 pier segments at the support. All the segments are dry match casted. Foundation includes 480 Nos of 1200 mm dia. bored in-situ end bearing reinforced concrete piles. Sub-structure consists of reinforced concrete piers. As per the design requirement PoT/PTFE bearings of free, fixed or guided types are used.Pre-stressing done with 19T15 and 12T15 system using 15.2 mm dia. 7 ply Class-2 strands with minimum ultimate tensile strength of 224.8 T per cable. Grade of Concrete used are: M50, M40, M35, M30 & M15 respectively.

 

  • One Fly Over:Length 348.0 mts both sides with Span arrangement of { 2 sides X [5 x 28m +(1 x 40m) + 6 x 28m] }.Foundation includes 104 Nos of 1200 mm dia. bored in-situ end bearing reinforced concrete piles. Sub-structure consists of 1800 mm Dia. reinforced concrete piers. As per the design, for the Normal span, Deck slab is placed over PSC I-Girder with Elastomeric bearings. For the Obligatory span, Deck slab is placed over PSC Box Girder with PoT/PTFE bearings.Pre-stressing done with 12T15 system using 15.2 mm dia. 7 ply Class II, Uncoated, Low relaxation strands with minimum ultimate tensile strength of 203.4T per cable for Normal Span & with 19T15 system using 15.2 mm dia. 7 ply Class II, Uncoated, Low relaxation strands with minimum ultimate tensile strength of 260.7T per cable for Obligatory Span. Grade of Concrete used are: M40, M35, M30 & M15 respectively.
