Olivier Amoussou is a versatile Project manager with 5 years of experience in the project management filed. For the last 2 years, I have worked on mining projects as Project control manager and Project delivery coordinator. On my last assignment, I was acting as On site Planning and Control Manager for an EPCM gold mine process plant expansion project in Mali (West Africa).
I held a Master in Project Management and I’m currently preparing to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
As a Project control manager, I always seek to improve project execution and management processes. Therefore, I have initiated or developed several tools such as project manual procedures, work progress monitoring system, project progress report templates, bidding document templates and other various templates. Those tools are now used in GENIVAR industrial and mining team.
Since I come from a West African country and live in a North American country, I have the ability to act as a “bridge” between West African and North American (or European) culture and working approach. Based on theses abilities, I was able to quickly build trust with the local contractor and the client team during my assignment in Mali.
As a Project control manager, I’m looking for challenging projects where I can keep improving my skills, my knowledge and learn from others.
