I have been assisting Project Managers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors for many years to get projects completed on time and under Budget, and these have been the main goals in both the Defence and Commercial Industries.
This has been from the positions of Planner/Scheduler, Project Controls Engineer, Senior Project Controls Engineer and Project Controls Manager.
The development of Project Controls and the Earned Value Management Systems I have used on projects with the Navy, Army, Attorney Generals Department and just recently Commercially in the Oil and Gas Sector.
For Scheduling I am very conversant with Primavera P6 and for Earned Value have used Cobra in the past which at the time was based on the US Military Standard.
The Commercial Sector has now started to use this type of management for their projects and I have now developed a methodology to set up Earned Value Management for projects.
