Projects:

 

  1. Aircraft Maintenance Hangar (AMH) – Value +2.6 Billion QR .

 

The scope is including final design, Engineering, procurement, Construction and Testing & Commissioning for:

 

  • Aircraft Maintenance Hangar. An aircraft maintenance hangar with wide structural free span to provide flexibility for different types of aircraft and workshop/storage building using

more than 25,000 tons of steel, and more than 140,000 m3 of concrete for the workshop, store and utility buildings, more than 40,000 m2 of polycarbonate, more than 42,000 m2 of Glazing, more than 120,000 m2 of Cladding, 145 km fire fighting and mechanical pipes, 70 km HVAC duct, 818 km of electrical cables.

  • Maintenance Dock Equipment. Specialized docking equipment in the aircraft maintenance hangar for heavy and light maintenance of all aircraft to be served in the AMH.
  • Special aircraft maintenance shop equipment including autoclave.
  • Special air conditioning equipment and system, including cooling towers that supply child water to the facility
  • Special fire protection systems, including foam system
  • Overhead cranes that will consist of a grid of moving cranes in the high bay hangar areas.
  • Auto Storage Retrieval System. This will be fully automated system for storage and inventory of spare parts held in AMH.
  • Site improvement adjacent to each building including paved vehicle circulation  and parking areas, side walks, fencing, external lighting, shades structures and site drainage.

 

  1. Airline Support Facilities (ASF)  – Value +2.7 Billion QR

 

  • Emiri Hangar.Two aircraft storage hangar buildings ; one to accommodate three wide body aircraft and one to accommodate four narrow body aircraft .The facilities include hangar spaces for in-line maintenance of aircraft,  offices, storage and all supporting building systems.
  • Cargo Warehouse. This facility including an automated ULD storage system with four levels elevated transfer vehicle systems to process 750,000 tons per year will function as both a cargo transit and originating/destination cargo facility with all functional requirements required to complete these processes. the fully completed facility houses specialized storage areas including cold-storage rooms, freezer rooms, medical products storage rooms and kennels ,truck loading / unloading docks, and offices. This facility will include ULD (Unit Load Device) screening system for transfer cargo.
  • Mail Terminal / Cargo Agent Building. A two-story building including truck loading / unloading docks, storage and offices.
  • Aircraft docking system (ADS). This system is for the cargo terminal apron. Works for ADS installation at aircraft parking positions on the cargo terminal apron include installation of the underground electrical power supply, electrical controls, and erection of mounting poles and structure mounting brackets for ADS units.

 

Project Management –Project Control Responsibility:

 

  • Lead, Plan and direct the Project control activities to achieve the agreed targets and operation performance in handling Scope Managements, Master Planning, Budget and Cost control.
  • Prepared the WBS, set up and Implement the Overall Master program (22,000 activities) for the Projects. Set up the Procedure and guide line for Monitoring of the Contractors Contract Program and reports. Review the Progress Updates of Design and Construction Program and raise the performance impact to the Project Management.
  • Set up the Cash flow (Revenue) and coordinating with the Project Manager and the Functional Departments Head for Project Forecast completion, Budget review, Scope Change and Variations.
  • Preparing the Corporate Monthly Report, Earned value report, delay concern and Budget status reports.
  • Coordinating with the Consultants for the Master Planning Schedule upon Approval.
  • Coordination with the sub-contractors for the master planning Schedule and updating the Schedule.
  • Attending weekly planning meeting with the Consultant to review and track progress
  • Attending weekly planning meeting with the Sub-contractors.
  • Preparing Extension of Time (E.O.T) for any Notification of Changes (NOC’s).
