· I am currently working as a fit out planning engineer on the 16 billion dollar New Doha International Airport (NDIA) in Qatar since the last 18 months for 18 Passenger terminal complex lounges
· I am familiar with all major fit-out activities like gypsum low and high wall partitions, gypsum ceilings, acoustic ceilings, acoustic tile ceilings, metal ceilings and ceramic and marble tilings, ventilated stone wall claddings, raised floor, and various forms of doors, millwork etc.
· Moreover, all the fit-out material utilized was imported from various parts of the globe like Italy, Germany, Dubai, UK and the USA. Moreover, this project had to be completed in conjunction with MEP contractors, subcontractors, civil defense inspections etc. Hence, I am extremely familiar working in a difficult airport environment and in delivering world class fit-out projects.
· My roles and responsibilities are as follows:
First was to prepare the Clause 14 / Baseline program in Primavera P6, resource and cost load the program and get necessary approval from the stakeholders. Second was to update the schedule weekly and prepare certain P6 reports, various MIS reports. Job cost reports and site reports such as daily, weekly, monthly, lookaheads, productivity reports, S curve, histograms etc. Third and my most important responsibility was to prepare the EOT claims in line with the contract.
· One of my major achievements on this project have been the reduction of planned manhours from the Tender stage by mobilizing labour as per the resource loaded program. And my second major achievement has been the recovery of 11 Million QAR in the form of EOT claims.
· In addition to the above, I have also previously gained experience in the Infrastructure sector in an EPC environment in Oman and India, working on various government projects (Refer CV). Hence, I am well versed in working with bureaucratic people of different nationalities from all walks of life.
· Also, I have completed a tertiary Masters degree in Engineering form University of Leeds, UK.
· I sincerely believe that I have a lot to offer as a planning engineer in UAE Airport sector. Furthermore, I would like the opportunity to utilize my current expertise and apply it to other fit-out projects.
