My career thus far has been one of tremendous growth and development with the various positions which I have held coming together within the six years working in a Administrative, Finance and Costing environment to instill in me principles such as professionalism, motivation and determination in all that I do.
I am currently on contract with Group Five Coastal as a Site Administrator, my Primary Key Performance Area (KPA) of this position is the rendering of efficient and effective Office Management and Financial/Admin and Wages Management at Pump Station number 3 based in Pietermaritzburg. Before completing my undergraduate qualification in 2007 I joined a reputable banking institution within the Financial Services Industry, ABSA Bank, where I believe I did well and proved my abilities and determination. This position was one where I gained immense and invaluable experience regarding the world of business and how to treat customers or Suppliers.
In 2009 I joined the Office of the Premier in KwaZulu-Natal where I held the position of an intern in the Financial Planning and Reporting Unit which is primarily tasked with the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) compilation for the Department, the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements, Cash Flow Management of the Department, monthly financial reporting to Provincial Treasury.
I have completed a Project Management in Primavera P6 version 7 and a Planning and Scheduling Professional course. I believe that I have done well in my tertiary education thus far, having completed National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting with three Distinctions. My majors in this course were Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Auditing.
I am now pursuing my 2ndyear in a BCompt Degree at Unisa
I would say that my personal attributes include good interpersonal relations and ability to effectively communicate across all levels and ranks. I am certain that my references will attest that my work is of an excellent standard and that I am an individual who shows initiative, maintains a service focus, and is determined. I have excellent presentation skills, an ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and a advanced computer literacy level and communication ability.
