I am Archiles Moses Balana, working as Senior Planner in Group Five Construction Company - Qatar. we just finished the NDIA Passenger Rail System Station Box (PRSSB) under ground station with -20 m elevation last November 2011. We started the project last March 2010 and this the first project of my company here in Qatar, Our head office is in Dubai, UAE. And our company main office situated in South Africa. One of the leading construction company in Africa.
I worked as Senior Planner for almost three (3) years in UAE and handle major projects like the Dubai Terminal 2 Expansion, Dubai Duty Free office building , warehouse and external works and LRT Terminal 1 station (part of Metro Red Line).
I am responsible in planning , scheduling , monitoring, updating the programme , reports preparations, prepare some detailed programme (micro), KPI Curve for major items, Productivity Rates and attend the progress meeting for the Clients. And prepare critical path evaluations, delay analysis report for the project team, extension of time if needed, mitigation programme and preside sub-contractor meetings if necessary.
I worked for seven (7) years in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of my working experiences in local projects in the Philippines as Senior Planner , Senior Cost Engineer , Junior Planning / Cost Engineer & Cadet Engineer respectively.
