I would like to apply for the above position.
For the past 3 years I have been employed by Babcock Networks as their Planning Manager, responsible for the Planning of 132kV overhead line refurbishment, 15/20 projects per year based in East Anglia and the south East, the client being UKPN (was EDF).
My role, plan and produce master and detailed programmes including resource, liaise/negotiate outage slots with UKPN Outage Control, SAP Co-ordination. Close liaison with the Client Project managers plus interaction with Babcock Construction Team, QS/Commercials and Procurement.
Constantly reporting status of projects to all interested parties, also working closely with Contraction Team modifying programmes to best utilise resource and maintain schedule dates when unforeseen issues can potentially delay projects.
I have extensive Primavera P6 knowledge/Experience, programme generation, tracking, EV and resource utilisation reporting. I also have MSP2003/2007 knowledge, high level user of Excel.
I have a can do will do attitude, I think things through thoroughly, I have a structured common sense approach to everything I undertake. Always prepared to put my self out to deliver what ever is needed for the team, internal and external customers.
I know the importance and how to establish, manage and keep to KPIs, plus cost of failure measurement.
I have the ability to understand complex issues, systems and able to pick up information extremely quickly.
