Following the recently advertised position on https://www.planningplanet.com, I am very pleased to forward my application for the Assistant Project Planner (Permanent) position. I graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 2009 with a distinction in my dissertation in Project Management which discussed in detail the best practices of behavioural based health and safety programmes in the UK Construction industry. I also graduated from The University of Salford where I studied for an MSc in Digital Architectural Design in 2010 and I am willing to take on a new challenging role. I am very keen to develop myself as an Assistant Project Planner (Permanent) with your client. Subsequently, I have developed and worked within the role of an Assistant Project Planner (Contract), amongst other roles at different organisations and most recently at Siemens Building Technologies in Surrey-a main works contractor that specialises in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects where I had the opportunity of working on a major civil construction project at the tender planning stage within a fast paced project management office. My project management experience here demonstrates that I have the skills required and would welcome the opportunity of working with your client in a permanent capacity.
My background, Architecture and Project Management, is design and construction-related, which allows me to explore activities related to diverse technical and management services from project initiation to project completion. In this light, I have developed a profound interest in project controls because I believe it enhances project delivery within commercial, government and industrial clients across multiple markets. My exposure to dynamic environments has been ongoing and I am certain that if given an opportunity I will add immense value in areas of creativity, processes, team work and other tasks with your client. Apart from this exposure, I consider myself an inspiring, ambitious, determined, hard working and pleasant young man who seeks to make a positive impact with your client.
