Enclosed please find my resume for your consideration. I am a Project Controls Scheduler and served as a Company First Sergeant for seven years in U. S. Army. I am currently assigned as Project Controls Manager in the Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, and have been so since January 2010. I am confident in my ability to fulfill and exceed the position requirements.
My previous experience as a Project Controls Lead Scheduler in Iraq from 2003-2010 has provided me with the opportunity to manage multiple million dollar projects with a success rate lauded by the customer and client. I schedule managed over 300 projects for the U.S. Government with an excellence rating during each awards fee board that contributed to the profitability of a major Engineering & Construction Company.
After ending my contract in Iraq I assumed a contract position in Afghanistan as a Lead Scheduler for a major service company managing all new construction for Southern Afghanistan. I quickly proved my abilities in constructing and managing an integrated master schedule for over 100 project for the U>S Government on a 1.3 billion dollar program. I was promoted to Project Controls Manager – Scheduling and assumed the responsibility for program providing weekly and bi-weekly reports submitted to the client.
Along with my experience in project controls and military operations with a multiple cultural work force, I bring a hands-on, problem-solving spirit to my work. My particular strengths are in establishing business relationships, strategic planning, and managing projects through completion with an eye toward continuous improvement.
