I enclose my CV/resume which outlines my academic and work experience. As you can see, I have had comprehensive training and experience in Civil Engineering and I believe that this has developed many of the skills you have stated in your advertisement. My course has enabled me to gain knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering, Building technology and Construction as well as risk assessment techniques, legal and regulatory framework, health and safety and management.
My Five working years has helped me develop my team-work, communicational, organizational, report writing and research skills and has also exposed me to various projects including high rise buildings and regular buildings. My CV demonstrates the variety of work in the construction sector and the skills that I feel I have gained whilst in this employment. My academic skills have given me the ability to communicate effectively on paper as well as through presentations. Through work experience I have also learned to communicate with people at various levels and in situations which require tact.
I feel that this will offer me a challenging and rewarding career as a Construction, Planning Engineer.
