I have over 10 years continuous experience in project management, project planning, and fabrication ranging from small automated paving equipment to large Concrete Batch Plants in Western Australia. The latest period had me involved in a major construction project being the fabrication and assembly of a 24,000 ton Offshore Oil Platform Substructure for Woodside Energy, North Rankin B platform for theNWS off WA.
Constructed in Batam, Indonesia.( Photos Attached)
I have been involved in all aspects of management and planning from human resources employment and management, materials and equipment procurement, cost control, contract administration, assembly line fabrication, quality control, progress reporting, monthly reporting and commissioning.
My particular interest and the area I enjoy working in is the planning and production from inception through to the satisfactory completion of projects within scheduled dates. I have specialized in using the current best practice tools – Primavera P6 which provides the progress and controls that is demanded by Project Managers. I’m an advanced user of this project management software. The Primavera P6 program has been a skill I have gained through my own initiative and training.
My experience gives me the understanding of both planning the work and the more important aspects of working the plan from commencement through to completion. This is from a practical background and not just as an operator of a database from a desktop environment.
I enjoy working within a team environment, gaining the knowledge from designers, engineers and management to plan the work; then ensuring we are delivering against that plan.
