I am currently a graduate student in water science at Duisburg-Essen University in Germany. I am very interested in obtaining the faculty position in your group.
I have a good scientific background. My courses for Master’s degree covered a wide range of fields such as Environmental Chemistry:Pollutants, soil waste; Environmental Microbiology, Biofouling, Biocorrosion, Geomicrobiology/Hygiene, Quality-/Project Management, Aquatic Organisms, Ecology and Protection of Freshwater Ecosystems, Applied Analytical Chemistry etc.. Besides, I am familiar with different kinds of wastewater treatment processes and have good background of inorganic and organic chemistry as well as biological knowledge, which could give me great support on the experiments and researches. I also have gained valuable experiences about environmental pollution treatment through many projects, such as the project of fluoride removal by electrocoagulation or electroflocculation, The fate of triclosan oxidation by aqueous ozone. My master thesis is about the biodegradation of triclosan in a wastewater treatment plant. All these research trainings provided me great opportunities to develop my experimental skills as well as scientific experience to researching. Especially during the internship in Denmark, I carried out a large amount of work efficiently as an active group member, promoting greatly the progress of the project.
I believe profound knowledge and experience come from long-term unremitting efforts and positive attitude. I hope and I am confident that I will be an effective and active researcher in the future.
