I have been a Project Planner in Construction for over 8 years. Managing the tender process and project controls for new build, refurbishments fit out on various sector types including but not limited to: commercial, education, retail and social housing. Projects ranging in value from £1m to £150m.
I am currently working for Styles & Wood UK, a main contractor undertaking predominantly refurbishment / Fit Out works. Clients include Lloyds Banking Group, Halifax, RBS, Barclays, Selfridges and Lidl.
Lloyds Banking Group bank full fit outs on newly acquired units including planning for temporary works, structural RC cut outs of existing structure and micro-planning of banking equipment and IT services. Works involved logistical planning around live environments and stringent city centre constraints.
Having undergone a temporary secondment in Dubai working for Dutco Styles & Wood UK my long term aspiration is to permanently relocate to either the UAE or Qatar.
My notice period is generally 4 working weeks with current employer, however this may be negotiated down to suit requirements.
