As my attached curriculum vitae indicates, my background includes nearly 2 decades of planning and programming experience almost exclusively in new railway construction projects including:
- 2 x Underground stations including the specialist packages (OHL, P’way, TVS, Comms, Fire services, signalling systems, environmental control systems, perm power).
- 1 x Elevated station with passenger interchange and specialist packages.
- 9km of Rail Viaduct including OHL and Permanent way.
- 2 x 1.2km of TBM bored rail tunnels.
- 7.6km of drill and blast excavated rail tunnel (Current project)
- Ventilation shafts/adits and ventilation buildings.
- New build – West Rail Line, Airport Express Line, Tung Chung Line, XRL High Speed Rail Line.
In addition to the above experience I am also able to offer your company
- Experience in post project final account/commercial planning.
- Forensic planning, claim digging, cause and effect.
- Creation of complex project controls (Physical and Financial Earned Value, auto Time Chainage).
- Author of the Leighton project controls plan, a controlled document that has been adopted as the benchmark for project controls in Leighton Asia.
- Delegation of work to planners, as well as mentoring and developing their skill set.
- Extensive Asia exposure, frequent visitor to Malaysia.
