Mark Eddison resume

20 years experience in multi discipline project planning, maintenance planning /coordination and CMMS systems within oil & gas and mining production industries.

I have a sound knowledge and practice in shutdown planning (TAR) Project Planning and maintenance planning / supervision practices and procedures with a solid methodical approach towards systems, processes and problem solving. With this approach I have successfully maintained all equipment to the level required through accurate planning, these plans have been in level 1, 2, 3, and level 4. Where the equipment is no longer serviceable I have tabled ideas to either improve and/or replace to keep maintenance cost within budget.

This with the addition of being largely involved in building many maintenance systems in mining, oil production, gas platforms and gas plants gives me an understanding of the requirements for a maintenance system. Combined with the ability to use P&ID’s, Flow diagrams and Cause and Effect diagrams helps to deliver the correct maintenance outcomes and to meet government regulations. I can also examine maintenance systems and advise to where systems can be improved.

I have been involved in planning for Commissioning, Start Up, Permit to Work, Simultaneous Operations, Safe Areas, Safety Zones, Construction Risks, Contractual conflicts and in country regulations within the offshore oil and gas industry.

My strengths are is in strategic thinking, communication and networking skills which significantly contributed to all the execution of all activities in accordance with the approved plans. This was largely made possible by adherence to the robust procedures and processes developed that I had reinforced. These procedures and processes were the key to the successful completion of activities as they aided in identifying shortfalls and managing issues.

I strongly encourage those around me to take ownership and input towards the scope they are responsible for and to do so is a safe manner to themselves and those around them.
