As you will see from my CV, I am currently working for Eurocom Ltd overseeing a wide range of LUL projects including, Asset Stabilisation, CCTV Installations, SOR relocations and station communication upgrades.
In my current role as Commercial Manager, I am responsible for, cost and resource loading programmes, monthly project programme updates, estimating, cost planning and value engineering, managing and pricing new variations, procurement and management of subcontractors.
I am also responsible developing project delivery and procurement strategies, working closely with the Operations Director and Design Team identifying commercial problems before they affected program deadlines.
With my previous employer I have gained Commercial Management and project planning experience on the LUL Connect Project undertaking Commercial Management & Contractual Claims. I was responsible for managing and monitoring new variations in accordance with the main PFI contract, payment applications and commercial support to the Project Management Team. Submitting and updating delay & disruption claims in accordance with the main contract relating to the variations under my control. I will also support the main contract claims team with the preparation of legal files and commercial information for the main contract claim interim updates.
My skills include, Project Management and Health & Safety, Procurement and outsourcing, Contract Management using JCT, NEC & PFI contracts, Operations management, Project controls and programming using Primavera P6.I have a firm grounding in management and the qualities required to be a successful Project Manager, with the ability to manage and maintain high standards whilst also managing costs.
I am positive about my future and have worked hard to continuously develop my experience and knowledge, having won a scholarship to undertake an MBA program at the University of Westminster I feel that I would be able to make a significant contribution to a management team.
