I currently work within the construction industry where I work as a client planning engineer for National Grid delivering high security protection against terroism projects. This have given me good experience of both sides of planning (contractor and client). I currently aid the project team track progress and delivery of applocated jobs through regular reports and programme appraisals to check the contractors are satisfying the NEC3 contract agreement as well as live and breath the jobs to track progress and help feed into team for any delays, disruptions or claims.
I come from an advanced academic and analytical background having completed a degree in Leadership, Management and Organisation at the University of Teesside and believe I am well qualified to add value to the team I have alot of experience of working on very dangerous construction sites as well easily adaptable to working within the office environment with little notice and have advanced Primavera skills and people management, team working and presenting. Having completed a degree and worked within the same industry of construction and Substations (High Voltage & Gas) I feel I am now ready to take up the challenge of a new industry that I know I am capable of understanding very fast.
