Duties covered in my career, but not limited to:

  • Management

- Manage scope, cost in respect of quality and time constrains

- Manage and develop people

- Provide a clear vision of the company/project strategy

- Provides early warning, identification, and reporting of all problems and categorizing pre-critical conditions

- Manages the performance of the programme controls consultants to contract scope, cost, schedule and the -          objectives of the project

- Preparation of project requirements and objectives, and coordinates these  across the project

- Estimators, Schedules, and all Programme Controls staff are aware of, trained on and consistently using state-

of-the-art processes and procedures Cost of programme services is commensurate with required effort and  

industry norms

- Proper Programme Controls are being used in a coordinated fashion across the project

  • Commercial

- Design, Procurement and Construction Cost Control (forecast vs actual)

- Integration between invoices and progress

- Approve invoices

- Manage contingences

- Identify change of scope and manage the change process

- Develop, Challenge and champion the Earned Value

- Establish and Implements a change management system in line with client and programme requirements

- Programme Control deliverables are defined for each stage of work

- Programme Control responsibilities and scopes of service are clear

  • Planning

- Management/Approval of Design, Procurement and Construction Schedules

- Critical path analysis and recovery plan preparation (including associated costs)

- Sensitive and What-if analysis

- Development of Control Milestones and master schedule

- Preparation of tender programmes full cost and resources loaded
