Project Controls is my field of expertise. This is founded on a diverse range of projects; from complex submittal tracking systems for a new $40BN airport to the application of multi-disciplinary work processes and controls on 7 nuclear power stations.
Furthermore, my background offers an array of demanding assignments, which includes high profile projects overseas, such as the UK’s $12BN High Speed 1 Rail Link. In addition, effective program management of bid proposals helped to secure new infrastructure contracts totaling $220M. Contract management of equipment supply projects for 10 new gas turbine plants in the US, was cumulatively valued at $450M. My record of revenue generation is further demonstrated by the procurement and implementation of a privately financed water supply project, valued at $93M.
Currently, I manage a Project Controls team in Denver for CH2M HILL’s Power Business Group. The team is deployed on EPC and Engineering Service projects that include solar, biomass, fossil and combustion turbine power plants. I am responsible for reviewing internal financial reports, process compliance, assessing risks and opportunities, supporting project administration/execution plans, monitoring budgets, estimates at completion and providing recommendations for both project and business improvement. My extended duties include the development of Operational, Tactical and Strategic performance dashboards. In addition, I am developing the next phase of a business plan for a unique and leading edge service; namely 5D Project Visualization.
I have an aptitude for identifying potential problem areas, rationalizing complex data, formulating and executing solutions; further enhanced by a strong commercial acumen. My leadership skills are proven and well balanced. This enables me to provide an intuitive and proactive approach to working with all personnel, across all disciplines and entities.
