Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find my CV attached,
As the sole planner for Quadrant Construction my main duties and responsibilities are-
Tender/cost plan
- Produce contract programme (showing decant if required).
- Produce development plans (site set up, health and safety, labour and plant required).
- Method statement (construction method, health and safety, local environment issues and sequencing/decant).
- Presentation to the main board at settlement meetings.
Contract
- Produce build/target programme.
- Issue and agree to site staff.
- Progress and update programmes, highlight problems and compose new when required.
- Specialised programmes for out of sequence works or sub contractors.
Post Contract
- Feed back on overall performance, strengths, weakness and good practices.
- Close programme, being aware of possible claims.
I have tendered for many types of contract, partnering, JCT D&B and JCT being the most common. The codes for stainable homes were a majority of code 4, with a tender of 4 houses at code 5 being a good experience. As a company we were investigating code 6.
- Piles, Contiguous and secant.
- Raft, strip, pads and ring beam (plus Abbey Pynford System).
- Timber, steel, R C , Podium construction (one tender using pods) plus traditional.
Many tenders were new build and some refurbishment, with decant being the first discussion which would lead on to phasing and sequencing, there were tenders where community centres were built first releasing areas to develop and working around the estate working in partnership with the clients wishes.
My qualifications so for are
M.C.I.O.B.
N.V.Q. 5 Level 7- Construction Manager.
Kind Regards
Ian Watts
