In order to improve monthly production rate from 4,500MT to 10,000MT, the following in-house projects were carried out in phase manner:
- Extension of conveyor system to accommodate increase length & weight of hot rolled material
- Extension of skid transfer system to accommodate increase length & weight of hot rolled material from one stand to another stand
- Extension of cooling bed to accommodate longer length of finished bars
- Erection & commissioning of additional grip tilter equipment with its hydraulic accessories
- Erection & commissioning of sand filter for rolling stand cooling system.
