I meet all the requisite engineering qualifications (B.Sc. Civil Engineering and MSc. Construction Project Management-University of Manchester, UMIST, United Kingdom) and an experience of 10+ years in planning and project control in an environment of EPCCM, Project Delivery/Management Consultancy and Tender Procurement. I have passed PMI certification of PMP and PRINCE2® Foundation Examination.
At this point of time, I am working with ALFANAR CONSTRUCTION a Middle East based International Engineering and Contracting Company as Planning Engineer, preparing FEED and Detailed Engineering (resource and cost loaded) programs and project programme portfolios, developing planning procedures, system and schemes for project control and monitoring process, wide usage of Primavera software and MS Excel spread sheets, understanding of various disciplines functions, programming of deliverable and non-deliverable items, staffing requirements, reporting procedures, histograms, S curves, Earned Value Management System, interfacing of various disciplines etc.
Skills and propensities to succeed are: Very extensive experience in master, project and construction, procurement/tender, short term /look ahead programs and integration of various programs using Primavera P3 to P6.2 and MS Project. Good exposure in cost estimate, budgeting and quantity surveying to support an effective and efficient planning process and project management. An enormous experience in defining and formulating of WBS, CBS, PBS, OBS, EVMS, cost, trend and progress reporting, development of key performance indicators(KPI) and dash board, budgeting, cash flow, estimate preparation, risk Management.
